Today I want to talk a little bit about Wind Haven’s Christian Life Coaching service.
First let me explain life coaching in general. Life coaching is a blend of counseling and motivation, but it is not the same as therapy. While counseling therapy focuses on the past and releasing pain, life coaching helps you focus on the future. A life coach is a partner and guide who helps you progress on your life path by exploring barriers to effectiveness and overall wellbeing in order to guide you toward fulfillment in your life. Life coaching helps clients set healthy boundaries and raise your personal standards.
As Life Coaches, we focus and specialize in providing a framework based on your individual values, beliefs, and motivation to allow you to analyze aspects of your life and progress towards goals. Specifically we specialize in assisting abuse survivors to reclaim their lives and move forward. We help clients with relationship coaching focusing on how to build stronger and healthier relationships. Life Coaching also helps with maintaining independence and individual stability, as well as overall wellness for a sense of wholeness after abuse. We will assess your personal situation and move forward from that point. We want to help you enhance your thinking, maximize your potential, and live life to the fullest.

Due to the nature of abuse, we highly recommend a combination of therapy and life coaching. We refer clients to certified counselors if you desire to address the past and restore functionality in your life. Both counseling and life coaching bring about positive changes and increase self-awareness. Depending on where you are in your personal situation and life, we can best determine the appropriate course of action for you.
Wind Haven Ministry is a non-profit ministry to help abuse victims to leave their abusive environment and transition into life outside of abuse. Presently, we refer clients to counseling services that we personally recommend based on our own life experience. Pastor Sarah Grace is seeking a degree in counseling, so that in the future we can offer in-house counseling services.
Wind Haven’s Life Coaching service is what we do to help abuse survivors who desire self-awareness, knowledge, improvement, and self-development to individually grow your life and future outside of abuse. We will help you to tap into your maximum potential and improve your life outside of abuse for the better, by creating and implementing an action plan and partner with you to accomplish your goals.
Life coaching through Wind Haven is donation based, with a minimum donation amount of $20. The first initial session is a free 30 minute assessment and consultation to determine your needs.
